Meitheal Traditional Orchestra at the National Concert Hall
Thursday, August 21st at 1pm
Ireland’s finest young traditional musicians will once again assemble at Meitheal Summer School where they will form an 80-strong Meitheal Traditional Orchestra. An impressive array of performers on fiddles, flute, harps, and all the native instruments, this orchestra will be directed by Ernestine Healy who has also composed and arranged the music for the ensemble. Well-known fiddle player, Zoe Conway will join the traditional orchestra for this lunchtime concert as part of ESB BEO Celtic Music Festival.
