This year, 2008, Scoil Cheoil na Botha, will take place in the village of Scotstown, Co. Monaghan on the 17th-19th of October. Events will include workshops, concerts, and sessions featuring some of the finest talent in Ireland.
Tutition will be available in the following instruments - fiddle, banjo, flute, harp, uilleann pipes, button accordion, piano accordion, concertina and singing. Scoil Cheoil na Botha 2008’ workshop tutors are: Noel Hill (concertina), John Wynne (flute), John Mc Evoy (fiddle), Fr. Séamus Quinn (fiddle), Derek Hickey (button accordion), Brian Mc Grath (banjo), Oliver Loughlin (piano accordion), Michael Rooney (harp), Tiarnán Ó Duinnchinn (uilleann pipes), Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh (singing).
