“Seisiun Ceoil na Nollag” a traditional Christmas Night House Party on Shannonside Northern Sound Radio will be broadcast between 6pm and 8pm tonight.
Martin Donohoe and the Nyah Group presents, ” Seisiun Ceoil na Nollag. This show consists of a Christmas Night House Party and is part of the Nyah Co Cavan arts group work in keeping music live and giving access for all to the culture.
Tune in tonight to call back to memory those happy days of yore of the old Céilí house before the Celtic tiger.
Invited guests include Joyce & Aidan O Hara, Aidan worked for RTE and was presenter of Fáilte Isteach, Charlie Mc Gettigan Singer & songwriter, Cavan’s, Antoin Mac Gabhann on Fiddle, Roscommon’s John Wynne on the Feadog Mór, Fintan Mc Manus, Trevor Bury, and from England, Dean Warner on Piano Accordion.
Also featured will be Olive Kilbane, Noel Sweeney & Philip Clarke, from the Four P’s Céilí Band. “11 Times ALL Ireland Winner”, Noel Battle, Mouth Organ King & Aodhán Ó Moynihan, Accordion, Westmeath – Comhaltas Project Manager, Bernard O Sullivan plus Stories and songs “as Gaeilge” and Béarla from West Cork’s Sean Ó Sé. The Programme will broadcast on Christmas Night on Shannonside Radio andNorthern Sound Radio
