The celebrated Fleadh Cheoil an Chláir Traditional Singing Session will take place in Linnane’s Bar Kilfenora (Kitty Linnane’s) on Friday night June 17th beginning at 9.30pm. This event attracted over 30 singers from far and wide last year and promises to be one of the major events of the County Fleadh. Among the guests will be Robbie McMahon, Spancilhill, Con Warren, Newcastle West, Declan Coyne Knockcroghery, Anita Broderick Galway, Donie Lyons Glin, Sean O’hEalaithe, Glin, Katherine Nea, Westmeath, Noirin Lynch Limerick, Carmel Gunning, Sligo, Penelope Chung Mountshannon, Mary Noonan, Shanaglish, Dave Larkin Galway, Michael Falsey Quilty, Tony O’Loughlin, Frankie McNamara, Tony Slattery and Helen Hayes, as well as a host of local singers. The session will be hosted by Joe O’Connor.
