Some of the important figures in our branch include: * our Vice Chairman Frank Whelan and Treasurer Pat Liddy who are Chairman and Treasurer respectively of the Cois na hAbhna management committee. Frank is also secretary of the Regional Meitheal Committee, he also spearheads various projects for the National Archive committee. * All members hold positions on the Fleadh Nua Committee * The late Brian Prior who worked as a comhaltas Projects Officer at An Cultúrlann in Dublin was a tireless worker for the branch. The branch has successfully bid for Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016 and 2017 to be held in Ennis.
