Welcome to the homepage of Craobh Sciobairin branch of Comhaltas Ceoltoirí Eireann - an organisation formed in 1969 to foster and promote Irish music and culture in the Skibbereen area of County Cork. Our membership is drawn from many of the surrounding towns and area’s including Leap, Rosscarbery, Drimoleague, Baltimore, Ballydehob, Aughadown and Caheragh, as well as the town itself.

Craobh Sciobairin is dedicated to the promotion of Irish traditional music, song and dance. To achieve our aims, we organise regular classes, sessions, oncerts, seisiún’s and committee meetings and we also encourage our members to participate in Fleadhanna Cheoil.

If you like Irish Music or dancing, why not browse our website or e-mail us for more information. You can also view our photo gallery to see photo’s of some recent branch activities. You can also follow us on Facebook to keep up to date with our day-to-day branch news and events. Who knows, you might even decide to join us! New members are always welcome
