Please note that from next week onwards the “slow slow” session moves back to its normal Wednesday night spot starting at 8.00pm. Regular Wednesday night sessions have taken place in Cultúrlann na hÉireann, Monkstown, Co. Dublin for more than 10 years while a Slow Session is held there on Tuesday nights. Recently there has been a demand for an even [slower session](http://comhaltas.ie/events/calendar/2009/9/16) and this has been organised to take place each Wednesday from 8.00pm to 9.00pm. This will be followed from 9.15pm onwards by the normal session. The “extra slow session” is aimed at improvers and musicians new to the Irish traditional session scene. A list of tune sets, taken from the Comhaltas Foinn Seisiún series, will be used for this session – Foinn Seisiún books and CDs can be purchased at the session. The sets used are changed regularly once musicians have learnt all the tunes in a particular list.
