Tionólfar an 51ú Comhdháil Bhliantúil Comhairle na Mumhan, Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann san Ostán Hibernian, Mágh Eall, Co. Chorcaí ar an Domhnach, 6ú Feabhra 2011 ag tosnú ar 2.00PM The 51st Annual Convention of Comhairle na Mumhan will be held at the Hibernian Hotel, Mallow, Co. Cork on Sunday 6th February 2011 commencing at 2pm *Signing in – 1.30pm* *Signing in cut off time – 2.45pm* (for voting purposes) This year’s Comhdháil na Mumhan is a special event celebrating 60 years since the foundation of Comhaltas in 1951. Ard Stiúrthóir of Comhaltas, Labhrás Ó Murchú, who has played a leading role in guiding the organisation over a long period of its existence, will be present to deliver a special address. All units of Comhaltas are now expected to be proactive in matters of Child Protection and this should be borne in mind when planning branch activities. Following the meeting, Ard Runaí of Comhaltas, Tomás Ó Maoldomhnaigh, who has drawn up the Comhaltas guidelines on Child Protection will give a talk on this subject. We sincerely hope that all branches in the province will make a special effort to be represented at this year’s Comhdháil na Mumhan The meeting will consist of: (a) The Outgoing Officers of Comhairle na Mumhan (b) The Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer of each County Board (c) Two delegates from each County Board (d) Two delegates from each Branch properly affiliated for 2010/2011 CLÁR ==== 1.
