The Breffni Céilí Band from Co. Cavan with a selection of reels: “Dick Sherlock’s” (also called “Matt Malloy’s”) and “Swinging On the Gate”. They were recorded at the Senior Céilí Band competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, 2007.
Band members are Lisa Geoghegan, Alma and Eimear Colwell on fiddles, Dorina Brady and Amanda Finnegan on flutes, Karlos Brady on banjo, Aileen Geoghegan on button accordion, Adam Geoghegan on drums and Deirdre O’Reilly on piano.

Here is a Paddy O’Brien hornpipe played by St. Roch’s Céilí Band in the Senior Céilí Band competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, 2007.
The members of the band are Eilean McArdle, Katie Boyle, Louise Hunter and Johnny Canning on fiddles, Julia Reid and Mairéad McManus on flutes, Martina O’Callaghan on piano accordion, Patrick O’Callaghan on button accordion, Colm Canning on drums and Kathleen Boyle on piano.

The winner of the competition and All-Ireland Champions of 2007 are The Allow Céilí Band from Co. Cork, who played the reels “Lucy Campbell’s” and “The Mountain Top”. They were recorded at the Senior Céilí Band competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, 2007.
Band members are Meabh Buckley, Geraldine O’Callaghan and Áine O’Connell on fiddles, Gerry Nunan and William Pearse on flutes, Eimear Buckley on concertina, Adrian Mc Auliffe on banjo, John Carroll on button accordion, Pat Mulcahy on drums and Clodagh Buckley on piano.

Hernon on button accordion, Bernie Conneely on banjo, Bernie O’Connor on drums and Karl Hession on piano.

Second place in the Céilí Band competition went to the Innisfree from Sligo, who played this three-part Barn Dance recorded by the James Morrison Band, very rarely heard, called “Peach Blossom”. They were recorded in the Senior Céilí Band competition at Fleadh Cheoil 2007 in Tullamore.
