ComhaltasLive #217 - 7: Na Commarsanna Céilí Band

The Leinster Fleadh takes place this weekend (13th to 15th July 2007) at Athboy, Co. Meath. At the Leinster Fleadh 2005, 2nd place in the Senior Céilí Band competition went to Na Commarsanna Céilí Band from Dublin, who played this selection of reels ending with “The Swallow’s Nest” by Paddy O’Brien.

Featured in one of the audience shots is Stephen Conroy who has since passed to his eternal reward. Stephen’s life was dedicated to promoting traditional Irish music and culture, particularly in his native Camross, Co. Laois.
