This week we present a variety of music from Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Tullamore, Co. Offaly, 2007, including a street session outside the Bridge Hotel and some of the under-18 fiddle competition.

Clare played this jig, also playing a lovely setting of the four-part tune “Kit D’Mahoney’s jig” in the key of C. That tune was a favourite of the great West Clare concertina player Paddy Murphy; our tutorial this week is the setting which Paddy used to play in the key of G. |

Clare prize-winners concert at Cois ha hAbhna, the magnificent Comhaltas Regional Centre and theatre in Ennis, Co. Clare. |
