A favourite ComhaltasLive clip, here are two reels composed by Josephine Keegan: “The Gates of Mullagh” (which is this week’s tutorial) and “Ronnie Cooper’s”. The tunes were played by 2004 All-Ireland Senior Fiddle Champion Mícheál Ó Rourke and button accordionist Larry Gavin,both from Tulla, Co. Clare. Piano accompaniament is by Deirdre McSherry from Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.
