More music from the Fleadh! This week’s programme features the Under-18 fiddle competition, the Senior Céilí Bands (including the winners, the Dartry Céilí Band of Sligo) and session music, all from Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2009. The Fleadh was held in Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

Members of the band are: Declan Folan, Philip Duffy, Mossie Martin and John Kilkenny (fiddles), June McCormack and Noelle Carroll (flutes), Michael Rooney (concertina), Seán Carroll (accordion), Kevin Brehony (piano) and Damien McGuinness (drums).

Band members are Catherine O’Driscoll, Ciara Brennan, Sinéad Cole, Denis Ryan, and Robert Gleeson (fiddles), Michelle Allen and Eugene Nolan (flutes), James Kinsella (accordion), Pat O’Meara (piano) and Liam McCormack (drums).
13:45 Taking 2nd place at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2009, the Shannonvale Céilí Band from CCE Ballyduff, Co. Kerry play a selection of reels - “Patsy Touhy’s” and “Blackberry Blossom”. Band members are: Sheila Garry, Diarmuid O’Brien and Geraldine Callaghan (fiddles), Marianne Brown and Eamon Riordan (flutes), Alan Egan (concertina), Brian Mooney (banjo), Danny O’Mahony (accordion), Jimmy Sparling (drums) and Patsy Broderick (piano).
15:56 St. Roch’s Céilí Band from Glasgow, Scotland, with a selection of reels at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2009, commencing with “Kiss Me Kate”. Members of the band are: Katie Boyle, Eileen McArdle, Johny Canning (who had earlier won the senior fiddle competition) and Louise Hunter (fiddles), Mairéad McManus and Julia Reid (flutes), Paddy Callaghan (button accordion), Maritna Callaghan (piano accordion), Róisín McArdle (piano) and Mark Maguire (drums).
