02:23 The Dartry Céilí Band from Co. Sligo with their All-Ireland winning performance at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2009 in Tullamore, Co. Offaly.Sligo native and president of Comhaltas Seamus McCormack presents the trophy to Philip Duffy, band leader. The reels are “Down the Broom” and “Gregg’s Pipes”. Band members are Declan Folan, Philip Duffy, Mossie Martin and John Kilkenny (fiddles), June McCormack and Noelle Carroll (flutes), Michael Rooney (concertina), Seán Carroll (accordion), Kevin Brehony (piano) and Damien McGuinness (drums).

They play “The Butchers’ March” jig and “Miss Monaghan’s Reel”. We extend our best wishes to Austin for a full and speedy recovery from his recent accident.

11:22 In the All-Ireland Senior Fiddle Competition 2009 Mairéad Ní Mhocháin from Ballincollig, Co. Cork plays a reel composed by Ed Reavy - “Leddy from Cavan”.
13:45 Enda McGreevy from Elphin CCE, Co. Roscommon plays a jig - a two-part version of “Tell Her I Am” in the Senior Fiddle Competition 2009.
14:22 Hornpipe played by Kathleen Sheerin from CCE Moate, Co. Westmeath in the Senior Fiddle Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2009.
16:27 All-Ireland Senior Fiddle Champion 2009 Johnny Canning from Glasgow, Scotland with his winning performance of “Black Pat’s Reel”. Johnny is presented with his trophy by adjudicators Geraldine Smith and John McHugh.
