523.07 At a large session in O’ Halloran’s pub in Ennis, Co. Clare at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017, fiddle player Dylan Foley from New York, USA, plays a selection of Reels - “The dairymaid”, “Spike Island Lassies” and “Tom Moylan’s”. Guitar accompaniment is by Seán Ernest.

523.08 Taking 3rd place in Senior Trios at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare, Fergal Breen, Sinéad Mulqueen and Jennifer Markham, CCÉ, Tulla/Craobh na hInse/Doora Barefield, Co. Clare, play a Hornpipe - “The Queen of May”.

523.09 From Co. Kildare, the Beartla Ó Flatharta Céilí Band play a selection of Reels in Senior Céilí Bands competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare. The Reels are “Jackie Coleman’s” and “The Sligo Duke”. Members of the Band are - Ruth Boylan, Finola Lawlor, Gary Lynch and Fergal O’ Neill on fiddles; Cein Sweeney and Elaine Clarke on flutes; Róisín Ní Fhlatharta on accordion; Gearóid Keane on concertina; Declan Magee on piano and Úna Ní Fhlatharta on drums.

523.10 Taking 2nd place in Senior Duets competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare, Lisa Shine and Muireann Hickey from CCÉ, Teampall an Ghleanntáin, Co. Limerick, play a Jig - “Knocknagow”.

523.11 Sarah O’ Gorman from CCÉ, Craobh na gComarach, Co. Waterford, plays a Reel in Senior Fiddle competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare. Incidentally, Sarah is one of the Tutors at Cahir Trad Fest, Co Tipperary, on weekend 15th to 17th September 2017. The festival also includes a Concert by Frankie Gavin on Friday 15th at 8pm.

523.12 From Pearl River, New York, USA, St. Aedan’s Céilí Band play a selection of Reels commencing with “The ships are sailing”, in 15-18 Céilí Band competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare. Banjo player with the band John Paul Reynolds took 3rd place in 12-15 Fiddle competition.

523.13 In Senior Trios competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017, Shauna and Ciana McGarrigle and Ian O’ Connor from CCÉ, Raithean, Co. Offaly, play a Slip Jig - “Give us a drink of water”.

523.14 From CCÉ, Newcastle, Co. Down, Ciara Maguire, Niamh Howell and Matthew Mc Astocker, play a Hornpipe - “The humours of Tullycrine” - In Senior Trios competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare.

523.15 From Coleman-O’ Grady CCÉ, USA, Seagda Coyle plays a Reel - “Hand me down the tackle” - in Senior Button Accordion competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare.
