536.1 Three members of the very successful Craobh Chronáin Comhaltas branch in north Cork, Emma Moynihan, Hannah O’ Flaherty and Fionn O’ Hanlon, play “Bill McCormick’s Jigs”. Recorded in their native Freemount on 11th March 2018, the Branch won All-Ireland Céilí Band titles in 2017 - Senior for 3rd year in a row, (Shandrum C. Band); 15-18 for 3rd year in a row (Crossfields C. Band) and 12-15 (Crossfields C. Band). The Branch are also All-Ireland Pléaracha Champions 2018. Fiddle and accordion player Alan Finn is their Musical Director.

536.2 Beartla Ó Flatharta Céilí Band from Co. Kildare, play a Barndance _ “Peach Blossoms”, in Senior Céilí Bands competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare. Band members are - Finola Lawlor, Ruth Boylan, Gary Lynch and Fergal O’ Neill on fiddles; Elaine Clarke and Cein Sweeney on flutes; Róisín Ní Fhlatharta on accordion; Gearóid Keane on concertina; Declan Magee on piano and Úna Ní Fhlatharta on drums.

536.3 Sarah O’ Gorman, CCÉ, Cr. na gComarach, Co. Waterford, plays a Hornpipe - “The drunken sailor” in Senior Fiddle competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare.

536.4 Over 20 musicians and dancers in Brú Ború Seisiún Group perform a selection of Reels and Jigs in their annual Summer Show in Cashel, Co. Tipperary, under the direction of Úna Ní Mhurchú. Recorded on Wednesday 9th August 2017.

536.5 Naoise Kettle, CCÉ, Spink, Co. Laois, plays a Jig - “Paddy Fahy’s” - in 15-18 Fiddle competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare.

536.6 Concert flute player Tara Fahey from CCÉ, Ratheniska, Co. Laois, plays two Reels - “Emily’s reel” and “Ormond sound” (P. O’ Brien) at a session recorded In Comhaltas headquarters in Cultúrlann na hÉireann, Monkstown, Dublin on 22nd January 2018. Tara took 1st place in 12-15 Flute at Leinster Fleadh Cheoil, 2017.

536.7 All-Ireland Plearacha champions 2018, Freemount, Co. Cork, play a selection of Reels including Sean-nós dancer. The group includes approx. 35 - musicians, dancers and singers under the guidance of Alan Finn, recorded in their local hall in Freemount on 11th March 2018. The reels are “The Killavil”, “The Duke of Leinster” and “The Union”.

536.8 (to 21.19) 30-03 Fergus Bogue from CCÉ, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan, plays a Jig when taking 2nd place in Senior Button Accordion competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare.

536.9 Fiddle player Muireann Hickey from Mountcollins in West Limerick, plays two Reels - a 5-part “The stepping stone “ (Mairtín O’ Connor) and a 3-part “The red bee” (J. Liddy). Recorded in the Comhaltas Centre in her native Templeglantine on 21st January 2018.

536.10 Tieing for 2nd place in Senior Céilí Bands competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare, the Blackwater Céilí Band from CCÉ, Clogher Valley, Co. Tyrone, play “The Blackwater March”. Band members are - Rosie Ferguson, Ursula McAdam, Eugene McKenna and Lydia Warnock on fiddles; James McCaffrey and Michael Coney (flutes), Ryan Hackett (piano accordion); Michael Curran (button accordion); Rachael Masterson (piano) and George McAdam on drums.

536.11 From Murphy Roche Irish Music Club, Burr Ridge, IL, USA, Cathryn Cowell plays a Jig - “Tom McElvogue’s” - in Senior Fiddle competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare.

536.12 Banjo player Shane Scanlon from Ballincollig Comhaltas in Co. Cork and harpist Niamh McGloin, Fred Finn Comhaltas in Sligo play a Hornpipe - “Fly by night” followed by a Reel - “Ormond sound” (P.O’ Brien). They were both members of Macalla na hÉireann, Comhaltas Concert Tour of Ireland 2017, recorded before the concert in Brú Ború, Cashel, Co. Tipperary on 20th October 2017.

536.13 In 12-15 Céilí Bands competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare, the Lendrum Céilí Band from Ceoltóirí Fintona, Co. Tyrone, play a Jig - “The wishing well”.

536.14 Taking 3rd place in Senior Trios competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in their native Ennis, Co. Clare, Fergal Breen, Sinéad Mulqueen and Jennifer Markham, play a Jig - “Wallop the spot”.

536.15 Selection played by Ards Grúpa Cheoil from Co. Down, in Senior Grúpaí Cheoil competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare.
