Fiddle player and Tutor Clare Quinn from Upperchurch, Co. Tipperary, plays a selection of Reels - “The girl that broke my heart” and “McFadden’s handsome daughter” - at the launch of the Comoradh Pat Swan Weekend in Brú Ború in Cashel, Co. Tipperary. The Festival takes place from 16th to 18th November 2018 and celebrates the huge contribution which Pat ( husband of the illustrious singer Nora Butler and who sadly passed away at the end of 2017 ) made to Irish traditional music.
