551.02 Taking 1st place at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018, Carraigmór 15-18 Grúpa Ceoil from CCÉ, Lackagh, Galway.

551.03 Taking 2nd place in Junior Fiddle competition at Ed. Reavy Traditional Music Festival 2018 in Cavan, Anna McCarthy, Courtyards, Drumcondra, Dublin, plays a Jig - “Over the wall” (T. Peoples).

In 15-18 Céilí Bands competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018, the Humours of Tulla Céilí Band from Co. Clare, play a selection of Reels commencing with “The woman of the house”.

551.05 In Fiddlers of Oriel Concert at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018 in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Brendan Larrissey, with guitar accompaniment by Stephen Dunne, plays two Reels - “The crib of perches” and “Jenny’s welcome to Charlie”.

551.06 Taking 1st place in Senior Button Accordion competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018, John McCann, CCÉ, Lisnaskea, Co. Fermanagh, plays a Hornpipe - “The scent of the bog”.

551.07 Concertina player with Macalla na hEireann Comhaltas Tour of Ireland Group 2018, Maura O Connor from Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick, plays “Cronin’s hornpipe” and a Reel “The mason’s apron” (Micko Russell’s version). Recorded prior to the Concert in Cois na hAbhna, Ennis, on 16th October 2018.

551.08 In the Senior Fiddle Competition at Ed. Reavy Traditional Music Festival 2018 in Cavan, Courtney Cullen from Wicklow Town plays a Reel - “The fisherman’s Island” (Ed. Reavy).

551.09 Scoil Éigse tutors at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018, Niamh McGloin, Clara Mannion and Rebecca McCarthy Kent, play a Hornpipe “The peacock’s feathers” and a Reel “Charlestown reel”.

551.10 From New Jersey, USA, Charlie Clauss plays a Jig - “Kit O’ Mahoney’s” - in 15-18 Fiddle competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018 in Drogheda, Co. Louth.

551.11 Taking 2nd place in 15-18 Duets competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018, Una and Aoife McGlinchey, CCÉ, Fintona, Co. Tyrone, play a Reel - “Maudabawn Chapel” (Ed. Reavy).

551.12 Taking 3rd place in Senior Céilí Bands competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018, Banna Ceoil Chnoc na Gaoithe, An Tulach, Co. Clare, play a selection of Jigs commencing with “Fr Kelly’s”. Band members are - Fiddles: Jennifer Markham, Amy McNamara and Finbar English; Flutes: Kevin Carey and Pauric Stapleton; Accordion: Fergus Bogue; Concertina: Sarah McAuliffe; Banjo: Brian McAuliffe; Piano: Gearóid McNamara and on Drums Conor Harnett.

551.13 In Senior Duets competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018 in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Jason and Damien McGuiness from CCÉ, Tireragh, Sligo, play a Reel - “Limerick Lassies”.

551.14 At a session in the D Hotel at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018 in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Cillian and Meadhbh Ní Chathasaigh from Cork, play two Jigs - “ Ó Chill Mháille go Caiseal” ( composed by Martin Power in honour of Úna Uí Mhurchú - the inspiration behind Brú Ború in Cashel ) and “Árd Ollamh 2018 Máirtín de Paor” composed by Meadhbh to honour Martin’s well deserved Award at the Fleadh. They are members of CCÉ, Niall Ó Cathasaigh, Ballincollig, Cork.

551.15 From CCÉ, Fintona, Co. Tyrone, Katie Ann McGoldrick, Oisín Seaney and Seán Bogan play a Reel in 15-18 Trios competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018, in Drogheda, Co. Louth.
