All-Ireland 15-18 Banjo Champion for 2018, Colm Lawlor from Thurles, Co. Tipperary, plays a selection of Reels which he learned from the playing of George McAdam. Recorded at the Comóradh Pat Swan Week-end 2018 in Brú Ború, Cashel, Co.Tipperary. Attentive listeners include Colm’s dad Tony and also Donncha Ó Cinnéide who is one of the organisers of the festival and who does extraordinary work on an ongoing basis in promoting our cultural heritage, particularly through his programmes on Tipp. Mid West Radio. 558.03

Orla Ní Dhuinnsléibhe, CCE, Carna, Co. Galway, plays a Reel - “The green fields of Glentown” - in 15-18 Fiddle competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018 in Drogheda, Co. Louth. 558.06
Rachel McGarrity and Clodagh Holland, CCÉ, Dungannon, Co. Tyrone, play a Hornpipe in Senior Duets Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018 in Drogheda, Co. Louth. 558.07 
From Dunlaoghaire, Dublin, Conor Cronin plays two Reels on concert flute - “John Brady’s” and “The crib of perches”. Conor learned these tunes from Brendan McCabe at music classes in Cultúrlann na hÉireann some years ago 558.08 Taking 3rd place in Senior Céilí Bands Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018 in Drogheda, Co. Louth, the Thatch Céilí Band, CCÉ, Baile Uí Choimín, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, play a Hornpipe - “Across the fence” (Seán Ryan). Band members are - Fiddles: Blaithín Kennedy, Naoise Kettle and Lily Kettle; Flutes: Maria Moloney and Margaret Grace; Accordion: Keelan McGrath; Concertina: Susan Coleman; Banjo: Eoghan McGrath; Piano: Mary Meagher; Drums: Conall Nevin. 558.09
Paddy Callaghan, CCÉ, Irish Minstrels, Glasgow, Scotland, plays a Reel - “Redican’s” - in Senior Button Accordion Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018 in Drogheda, Co. Louth. 558.10
