ComhaltasLive #562_2:John Harnett
Keeping alive the lovely old West Limerick style of Flute playing enhanced by a simple and supportive foot rhythm, John Harnett plays two Reels. John told me he inherited the tradition from his grandfather Jack Harnett from Athea in West Limerick to whom he dedicated the second Reel which he (John) composed and called “Jack the mason’s reel”.
