566.01 Well-known fiddle players Justin Toner (Co. Armagh) and Stephen Hayden (Co. Tyrone), play Reels on two fiddles from Justin’s colliection at Tyrone Co. Fleadh Cheoil 2019 in Omagh. The Reels are “The green mountain” and “Tom Ward’s downfall”.

566.02 Brú Ború dancers Ciara and Aoife Horan from Drangan, Co. Tipperary, join a large group of musicians in an informal session during the Pat Swan Weekend in Cashel in November 2018. The spectacular Brú Ború Show takes place Tuesday to Saturday nights from July to mid-August in the Brú Ború Centre in Cashel, Co. Tipperary.

566.03 Approximately a dozen musicians from many parts of the world in a session at the Comhaltas North American Convention in the Hilton Hotel in Parsippany, New Jersey in June 2019. Don’t miss Katie Grennan’s gracious assessment of her colleague’s gesture during this selection of Reels ! (commencing with “The Killavil reel”). The musicians include George Keith (Boston), Dan Foster (York, UK), Marty Frye (Washington DC), Katie Grennan (Chicago), David Mc Kindley-Ward (Maryland), Grace Schell (New York), P. Weir (Edinburgh), Mary Grace O’ Neill (Marlborough), Colin Farrell (Manchester), Johnny Hewerdine (Ontario, Canada) and Ursula Garry (Brooklyn, New York).

566.04 Megan Teague, Dromore CCÉ, on saxophone, plays a Reel after winning 12-15 Miscl. Instruments Compt. at Tyrone Fleadh 2019 in Omagh. Megan has won All-Ireland U-12 competitions on Tin Whistle and Concert Flute. Her Reel here is “Kiss the maid behind the barrel”.

566.05 The selection played by Meitheal Cheoil from North London, London and Southern Region, UK, in Senior Grúpaí Ceoil competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018 in Drogheda, Co. Louth.

566.06 Patrick Harvey on accordion and Niamh McAnenly on harp play a 3-part Jig at a session during the Tyrone Fleadh in Omagh in June 2019.

566.07 Two Barndances played by Keelan McGrath (current All-Ireland 15-18 Champion) and his teacher Ned Kelly (All-Ireland Senior Champion in 1992). Guitar accompaniment is by Jack McGrath. The tunes are - “Flanagan meets O’ Hanlon” and “If there weren’t any women”. Recorded at a session in Lissenhall N.S., Nenagh, Co. Tipperary on 17th June 2019.

566.08 In a session after taking 1st place in U-12 Duets at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018, Sligo musicians Conor McDonagh on flute and Aoife Thornton on concertina play a Jig - “Down the back lane”.

566’09 After taking 1st place in 15-18 Tin Whistle at Tyrone Fleadh 2019 in Omagh, Ronan Dolan, Dromore CCÉ, plays a Reel - “Stone of destiny”.

566.10 Paul McGlinchey (flute), Ryan O’ Donnell (banjo), Shane McAleer (fiddle) and Eamon McElholm (guitar) play 3 Reels starting with “The tap room”, at the opening of Tyrone County Fleadh Cheoil in Omagh on 28th June 2019.

566.11 A large group of Musicians joined by Dancer Leah Telford at an outdoor session at Leinster Fleadh Cheoil 2019 in Athboy, Co. Meath. The group are L/R Chris Maguire (accordion), Jillian O’ Malley (flute), Maggie Maguire (fiddle), Ciarán Hanna (concertina), Rosie Ferguson (fiddle), Ursula McAdam (fiddle), Paddy Callaghan (accordion), Maria Mitchell (fiddle), Cein Sweeney (flute), Denise Kennedy (fiddle), Leah Telford (dancer), Kieran Leonard (bodhrán), Ronan Warnock (keyboard), Caolán Hendron (banjo). 566.12 All-Ireland Senior Duet Champions 2018, Ciarán and Áine Fitzgerald from Kildare play 3 Reels at a session at Leinster Fleadh Cheoil 2019 in Athboy, Co. Meath. The Reels are “Leitrim Bucks”, “Leitrim Reel” and “Martin Wynne’s” (sometimes called “McGettrick’s”).

566.13 After taking 1st place in 12-15 Tin Whistle in Leinster Fleadh 2019, Cáitlín Ní Mhuineog, CCÉ, Baile Buí, Co. Offaly, plays a Reel - “The Rectory”.

566.14 In 15-18 Céilí Bands Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018 in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Naomh Fearnáin C.B. from CCÉ, Tireragh, Sligo, play a Hornpipe.

566.15 After taking 1st place in Senior Button Accordion Competition at Tyrone Fleadh Cheoil 2019 in Omagh, Seán Dolan, CCÉ, Dromore, plays a Reel - “Trip to Nenagh” (Seán Ryan).
