590.01 Recorded in Half-Door, Nenagh, Co.Tipp. 24th July 2019, local musicians Laoise and Clodagh Kennedy play a Reel “Dooney Rock”(S. Ryan). Laoise went on to take 1st place in U-12 Fiddle at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019. Incidentally, the Reel was composed by well-known Fiddle player/composer also from Nenagh area - Seán Ryan.

590.02 Multi-instrumentalist with several All-Ireland titles, Timmy Flaherty, Listowel CCÉ, Kerry, plays Reels - “The Killavil” and “The piper from Keady”, with bodhrán accompaniment by Daire Smith, CCÉ, Cavan Town. Recorded on 18th October 2019 in Brú Ború, Cashel, Co. Tipperary, before their Concert performance with Macalla na hÉireann, the Comhaltas Concert Tour Group of Ireland 2019.

590.03 From Pearl River, New York, USA, Kian McGeever, plays a Reel in 15-18 Button Accordion Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda, Co. Louth.

590.04 All-Ireland U-12 Fiddle Champion in Slow Airs and Ordinary competition for 2018, Mairéad O’ Brien, and Eabha Gaughan Quinn (concertina), both from Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, play a Reel - “Farewell to Milltown” (J. Crehan). Recorded in the Half-Door, Nenagh on 24th July 2019.

590.05 A group of eleven Musicians, led by well-known Tutor and accordion player Ned Kelly and current All-Ireland 15-18 accordion champion Keelan McGrath, play three Jigs - “The Legacy Jig”, “The mouse in the mug” and “The spotted dog”.
Recorded at a session on 17th June 2019 in Lissenhall N.S. just outside Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, where music is taught by Ned and his colleagues. Sincere thanks to Ned and many family members and friends of the group for arranging the recording and for making it such an enjoyable occasion. The musicians in the group are - Front row L/R Róisín and Ciara Connolly, Aaron Fitzgerald, Méabh Cahalan, Jack Connolly and Jack McGrath. Back row L/R Caitlín McGrath, Aaron McGrath, Keelan McGrath, Ned Kelly and Clodagh Cahalan.

590.06 Musicians and Dancers with Macalla na hÉireann - the Comhaltas Concert Tour Group of Ireland 2019 - with a selection of Reels, commencing with “Jackie Riordan’s”, in Brú Ború, Cashel, Co. Tipperary on 18th October 2019.
Members of the Group are - Musicians : Brogan McAuliffe, Blaithín Kennedy, Ciara Maguire, Daire Smith (also Singer), Fiona Kelleghan, Liam Orr, Lughaidh Fisher (also Singer), Micheál Fitzgibbon, Michaela Kennaghan (also Singer), Séamus Ó h Airtnéide, Síofra Hanley (also Singer), Thomas Palmer and Timmy Flaherty. Dancers : Ciara Horan (also Bean a’ Tí), Danielle Bowe, Eiméar Mulvey and Ray Shanahan. Tour Manager : Eddie Murphy.

590.07 From Pearl River, New York, St. Aedan’s Céilí Band play a Jig - “Only for Barney” (J. Keegan) in 15-18 Céilí Bands competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda, Co. Louth. They are members of CCÉ, Martin Mulvihill, New York.

590.08 From CCÉ, Dromore, Co. Down, Jane, Molly and Cara Walls, play a March in 15-18 Trios competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda, Co. Louth.

590.09 In Scoil Éigse Tutors’ Concert at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019, tin whistle Tutors Ray MacCormac and Tom Doorley play a Jig - “Banish misfortune” and a Reel - “Anderson’s”.

590.10 Sinead Níc Eoin and Rian Ó Síoradáin play a Hornpipe in 15-18 Duets Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019. They are from CCÉ Paddy Killoran/South Sligo, Sligo.

590.11 From Illinois, USA, Dmitri Alano, Robyn Jedlica and Mario Joven play a Reel - “The Colliers” - in Senior Trios competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda, Co. Louth. They are from CCÉ, Murphy Roche Irish Music Club in Burr Ridge, Illinois.

590.12 St. James the Great Ceilí Band from Scotland play a March in 15-18 Céilí Bands Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda, Co. Louth.

590.13 Accordion player Niamh Ryan plays two Reels at a Session in the Half-Door in her native Nenagh, Co. Tipperary on 24th July 2019. The Reels are “Carmel Mahony Mulhaire’s” (Mtn. Mulhaire) and “The palm tree” (Finbar O’ Dwyer).

590.14 In Scoil Éigse Tutors’ Concert at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019, Mark Redmond on pipes and Robert Harvey on flute play 4 Reels ending with “The lads of Dublin”.

590.15 At Tyrone Fleadh Cheoil 2019 in Omagh, Marie Trés (banjo) and Niamh (Harp) McAnenly from Omagh, play 2 Jigs composed by Michael Rooney - “Tigh Rafferty” and “Gort na Mara”.
