At ‘Ceiliúradh Ashling’ the Special Tribute Concert celebrating the life of the late Ashling Murphy in Cultúrlann na hÉireann on Saturday 26th February 2022, the Comhaltas National Folk Orchestra, under Musical Director Tom Doorley, with “The Gold Ring Suite” starting with the Air “Port na bPúcaí”. The Concert, which was attended by Government Ministers Catherine Martin and Jack Chambers, also featured several special items and tributes as well as Macalla na hÉireann and colleagues of Ashling from her local Ballyboy Comhaltas Branch in Co. Offaly. Other items from the Concert have featured in Comhaltas Live Progs 627.01 and 628.09 and further items will be included in upcoming Programmes.
