609.02 Often described as ‘The King of the Lilters’, Cavan native Seamus Fay lilts a Jig - “The Blarney Pilgrim”, at Ed. Reavy Trad. Music Festival in Cavan in October 2019.

609.03 From USA, fiddle players Brian Buchanan and his wife Rose, popularly known as “The House of Hamill”, called after the great Ed. Reavy reel which they now perform.

609.04 At the Fintona Trad Festival 2019 in Co. Tyrone, the popular Mulcahy family from Limerick play a selection of Jigs - “The Munster jig”. “Old hag you nearly killed me” and “The humours of Lisheen”.

609.05 The Jig “April fools” played by the Bennis sisters Laoise on concertina and Órla on harp. Recorded at their home in Limerick in May 2021.

609.06 After taking 1st place in 12-15 Duets at Leinster Fleadh 2019 in Athboy, Co. Meath, Sadhbh Nic Artáin and Muireann Ní Mhaoildeirg, CCÉ, Seán Treacy, Dublin, play a Reel - “Caher Rua”.

609.07 At Ed. Reavy Trad Festival 2019 in Cavan, John Daly, Sinéad McKenna and Jason McGuiness on Fiddles and Kevin Brehony on Keyboard, play 3 Reels - “The Curlew”, “Martin Wynne’s” and “Bere Island” (F. O’ Dwyer).

609.08 At North American Comhaltas Convention 2019 in Persippany, New Jersey, Andrew Caden (fiddle) from Bethesda, Maryland, and Kian McGeever (accordion) from Pearl River, New York, play a Hornpipe - “Slievenamon”.

609.09 Fiddle maestro Dylan Foley from New York and David McKinly-Ward from Baltimore on bouzouki, play Reels - “Mrs Crehan’s” and “The fire in Clan Ratha” (C. O’ Connell) at North American Comhaltas Convention 2019 in Persippany, New Jersey.

609.10 After taking 2nd place in Ulster Fleadh 12-15 Flute Competition 2019, Roise McCloy, Newbridge CCÉ, Co. Down, plays a Jig - “Tom McElvogue’s”.

609.11 Stephen ‘Banjo’ McKee and Gary ‘Box’ Curley with Gerry McMahon on guitar, play 3 Reels - “Johnny Óg Connolly’s”, “Martin Wynne’s” and “Hand me down the tackle”, at Ed. Reavy Trad Festival 2019 in Cavan.

609.12 After taking 3rd place in All- Ireland U-12 Céilí Bands Competition 2019, Lendrum C.B. from Fintona, Co. Tyrone, play a selection of Jigs ending with “The Banks of Loch Gowna”, at Fintona Trad Fest in October 2019.

609.13 In 15-18 Duets Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019, Kevin Holmes and Meadhbh O’ Neill, CCÉ, Clifden, Co. Galway, play a Reel - “Jenny’s welcome to Charlie”.

609.14 Taking 1st place for the fourth year in-a-row in 15-18 Céilí Bands competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019, Crossfields C.B. from CCÉ, Cr. Chronáin, Co. Cork, play Reels - “Martin Mulhaire’s” and “The new mown meadow”, followed by a wonderful audience reaction !
