Enjoying the tune after the Competition are Donagh’s parents and friends including Eamonn Ó hArgáin (also from Lixnaw) who became Úachtarán or President of Comhaltas in 2021.

611.02 In the Senior Fiddle Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2014 in Sligo, Eoin Mac Cionnaith, CCÉ, Clogher Valley, Co. Tyrone, plays a Reel - “The Fisherman’s Island” (Ed. Reavy).

611.03 Taking 1st place in Senior Trios Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2014 in Sligo, Eimear Coughlan, Francis Cunningham and Marian Curtin play a Jig. They are from CCÉ, An Tulach/Croisín/ Laichtín Naofa, Co. Clare.

611.04 Meabh Nic Gabhann, CCÉ,Naomh Mochua, Armagh, plays a Reel - “Dowds”- in 15-18 Fiddle Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2014 in Sligo.

611.05 A lovely rendering on Cello of 2 Reels (ending with “Lucy Campbell’s”) by multi-talented Éadaoin Ní Mhaicín, who took 3rd place in the Miscellaneous Instruments Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2014 in Sligo. Eadaoin is from CCÉ, Caisleán a’ Bharraigh, Mayo.

611.06 Musicians from many parts of Ireland and Overseas, led by well-known banjo player from London Mick O’ Connor, with a selection of Reels in a large street session at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2014 in Sligo.

611.07 Taking 2nd place in 15-18 Fiddle Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2014 in Sligo, Eibhlín de Barra, CCÉ, Gort na mBó, Mayo, plays a Hornpipe - “The Comet”.

611.08 From CCÉ, Ottawa, Canada, Kyle Burghout plays a 3-part Reel in Senior Fiddle Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2014 in Sligo.

611.09 All-Ireland under 15 Trios Champions for 2014, Manus Heenan, Keelan McGrath and Blaithín Kennedy play a Jig - “Crabs in the skillet” - at a Prizewinners Concert in Brú Ború, Cashel, on 4th October 2014. They are from CCÉ, Ormond/Ballycommon, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.

611.10 Mairéad Mitchell, CCÉ, Loup, Derry, plays a Reel - “The Oak tree” - in 15-18 Fiddle Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2014 in Sligo.

611.11 A Jig - “The Wandering Gander” - played by Suzanne, Gearóid and Darragh Curtin, in Senior Trios Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2014 in Sligo. They are from CCÉ, Teampall an Ghleanntáin, Limerick.

611.12 All-Ireland Senior champion in Tin Whistle Slow Airs for 2014, Maura Ní Bhriain, CCÉ, Cashel, Co. Tipperary, plays “Bean Dubh an Ghleanna” at a Prizewinners Concert in Brú Ború, Cashel, on 4th October 2014.

611.13 Breandán Ó Mairtín from CCÉ, Fred Finn, Sligo, plays a Jig in U-18 Fiddle competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2014 in Sligo.

611.14 Taking 3rd place in Senior Fiddle Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2014 in Sligo, Aoife Ní Chuinneagáin, CCÉ, Crosskeys, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan, plays a Reel - “Mrs Lawrie’s”.

611.15 After taking 1st place in 15-18 Banjo Competition, Aislinn Fegan plays a Reel - “The Kylebrack Rambler” - in a street session at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2014 in Sligo. Aislinn, from CCÉ, Rinn Mhic Ghiolla Rua, Co. Down, is daughter of the late Caroline Judge of the multi-instrumental Judge family from the famous St. Colmcilles Céilí Band in St. Albans, England. In this session she is joined by her father, her sister and family friends Jim Lawlor and Mike O’ Connor from Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.
