618.01 Taking 1st place for the fourth year in-a-row in 15-18 Céilí Bands competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda, Crossfields C.B. from CCÉ, Cr. Chronáin, Co. Cork, play a multi-part Jig.

618.02 The Strand Céilí Band from Co. Donegal, play a Hornpipe - “The good-natured man” - in Senior Céilí Bands Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda, Co. Louth. Band members are - Fiddles: Megan McGinley, Sadhbh McCabe and Joseph McBride; Flutes: Karl Doherty and Megan Coyle; Piano Accordion: Catriona Gribben; Concertina: Aileen Bourke; Banjo: Oisín Murphy; Piano: Eimear Gallagher; Drums: Jamie Glacken.

618.03 Recorded in their native Ballymote, Co. Sligo on 9th October 2021, the Collis family play a selection of Reels which they call the “Toss the feathers” set. Deirdre (left of picture) is holder of 3 All-Ireland Senior Titles - Button Accordion, Concert Flute and Whistle. She is joined by her sisters Patricia and Fionnuala and her husband Sylvie on guitar.

618.04 Árd Eiscir Céilí Band, CCÉ, Raithean, Co. Offaly, play Jigs in Senior Céilí Bands Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda. The Jigs are - “Billy McCormack’s” and “Don’t touch that green linnet”. Band members are - Fiddles: Danielle Lonergan, Ciara McKeogh and Clare Ann Kearns; Flutes: Brian Deegan and Diarmuid Brady; Accordion: Lorraine Hogan; Concertina: Lelia Brady; Banjo: Maria Hartnett; Piano: James Hogan; Drums: Ciarán Brennan.

618.05 At the Scoil Éigse Tutors’ Concert at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Rebecca McCarthy Kent, Clara Mannion and Gráinne Hambly play a Reel - “McFadden’s handsome daughter”.

618.06 From CCÉ, Croisín, Co. Clare, Róisín Clancy and Shona O’ Halloran, play a Reel - “Spike Island Lassies” - when taking 1st place in 15-18 Duets Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda, Co. Louth.

618.07 Marrianna and Séamus Tiernan, CCÉ, Caisleán a’ Bharraigh, Co. Mayo, play a Jig - “Joe Liddy’s” - in Senior Duets competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda, Co. Louth.

618.08 Taking 3rd place in 15-18 Flute Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019, Aideen Quinlan, CCÉ, Leac Snámha, Co. Kerry, plays a Jig - “Tommy Peoples’ jig”.

618.09 Featuring a wide range of instruments, eleven members of the Paddy Killoran Comhaltas Branch in Ballymote, Co. Sligo, play a lovely selection of Reels, ending with “Lucy Campbell’s”. Recorded in October 2021, the musicians are L/R Back Row : Shauna Cullen (flute), Aaron Glancy (accordion), Lisa Golden (flute), Lorraine Dunleavy (flute), Ryan Sheridan (accordion), Conor McDonagh (flute). Front Row : Amy Cullen (bodhrán), Mark Dunleavy (pipes), Éabha Glancy (fiddle), Dúlra Hanly (fiddle) and Síofra Hanly (harp). Congratulations to Branch officials Tim Mulcahy, Michael Hurley and their colleagues for their wonderful work in organising music classes in a large range of instruments, dancing and singing in the area. Band members are - Fiddles : Ruth Boylan, Finóla Lawlor, Seán Ó Catháin and Fergal O’ Neill; Flutes: Ciarán Mac Gearailt and Elaine Clarke; Accordion: Roisín Ní Fhlatharta; Concertina: Gearóid Ó Catháin; Piano: Declan Magee and on Drums Úna Ní Fhlatharta.

618.15 Taking 2nd place in 15-18 Trios at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018, Ellen, Maeve and David Scott, CCÉ, Camross, Co. Laois, play a Hornpipe - “Fly by night”.
