ComhaltasLive #632_1:Micheál Ó hAlmhain and Eimear Coughlan
A very unusual type of tune known as a ‘Linear Tune’ - where the melody develops throughout the whole tune without repetition - called ‘’Pléaracha na Ruarcach’’ composed by Turlough O’ Carolan (1670/1738) and played on flute by Micheál Ó hAlmhain and Eimear Coughlan on harp at the Scoil Éigse Tutors’ Concert at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018.
