634.02 Sarah O’ Gorman, CCÉ, Cr. na gComarach, Waterford, plays the Hornpipe “Galway Bay” - in the Senior Fiddle competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda, Co. Louth.

634.03 The Pearl River Céilí Band, New York, USA, play Reels in Senior Céilí Bands Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda, Co. Louth. The Reels are “Devanney’s goat” and “The bag of spuds”. Band members are - Fiddles: Rose Flanagan, John Reynolds, Erin Loughran and John Paul Reynolds; Flutes: Margie Mulvihill and Brian Gallery; Accordions: Patty Furlong and Mike Melanophy; Piano: Kieran Flanagan; Drums: Ronan Mulligan.

634.04 In the Scoil Éigse Tutors’ Concert at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda, Co. Louth, presented by Kieran Hanrahan, Tutors Eileen Gannon, Tara Breen and Pádraig Rynne play 3 Reels starting with “The humours of Loughrea”.

634.05 Taking 2nd place in 15-18 Fiddle competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019, Ademar O’ Connor plays a Reel - “Brendan McGlinchey’s”. Ademar is from CCÉ, Edenderry, Co. Offaly.

634.06 Taking 1st place in 15-18 Flute competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Donnchadh Mac Aodh plays the 3-part Jig “The Wishing Well”. Donnchadh is from CCÉ, Dundalk, Co. Louth.

634.07 In the Scoil Éigse Tutors’ Concert at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda, Co. Louth, L/R Cathy Kirke, Tom Gavin, Maebh Ní Raghallaigh and Fionnuala Donlon, play 2 Jigs - “McIntyre’s fancy” (J. Brady) and “I ne’er shall wean her”.

634.08 The Slieve Gallion Céilí Band from Derry play a selection of Reels - “Patsy Tuohy’s” and “The Rainy Day” - in the Senior Céilí Bands competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda, Co. Louth. Band members are - Fiddles : Sinéad McKenna, Maria Mitchell and Andrew Jackson; Flutes : Cein Sweeney and Séamus Tierney; Accordion : Gary Curley; Concertina : Mairéad Mitchell; Banjo : Stephen McKee; Piano : Rachael Masterson; Drums : Eoin McKee.

634.09 Patrick Finley plays the Jig “Banish Misfortune” in the Senior Fiddle Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda, Co. Louth. Patrick is from CCÉ, ITA, Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

634.10 Taking 1st place in Senior Céilí Bands Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019, Banna Ceoil Chnoc na Gaoithe, An Tulach, Co. Clare, play Reels - “Fred Finn’s” and “The Union”. Band members are - Fiddles : Jennifer Markham, Amy McNamara and Therese McInerney; Flutes : Kevin Carey and Pauric Stapleton; Accordion : Fergus Bogue; Concertina : Sarah McAuliffe; Banjo : Brian McAuliffe; Piano : Gearóid McNamara; Drums : Conor Harnett.

634.11 From London, Jack Boyle and Chris Maguire play a Reel in the Senior Duets competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda, Co. Louth. They are members of CCÉ, West London,London and Southern Region.

634.12 All the way from CCÉ, Japan, Taka is well up to the challenge of the Multi-part Jig - “Knocknagow” in the Senior Fiddle Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2019 in Drogheda, Co. Louth.

634.13 Enda Seery on Flute and Siobhán Farrell on piano provide the music for Caoimhe Farrell who dances a Reel at a recording session organised by their native Westmeath Comhaltas in The Bloomfield Hotel, Mullingar on 12th March 2022. Thanks to the organisers Joe Connaire and Colette Glynn who, with their colleagues, are doing wonderful work preparing for Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar.

634.14 A range of 6 different instruments in this group of 10 musicians (the majority of whom teach music in the area) in Paddy Killoran Comhaltas Branch in Ballymote, Sligo. Recorded on 9th October 2021 they play 2 Jigs - “Strike the gay Harp” and “Pay the Reckoning”. The musicians are L/R Tim Mulcahy, Stephen Nolan, Fiona Doherty, Deirdre Hurley, Tommy Finn, Fr James McDonagh, Mary Finn, Michael Hurley, Charles Dwyer and Charles O’ Connor. Thanks to Tim Mulcahy and Michael Hurley for all their help with the recording.
