642.01 Taking 1st place in 15-18 Duets Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar, John Munday and Rian McCarthy play a Tommy Peoples Jig - “Frances Shannon’s”. Frances and her family were friends of Tommy when they were living in Ennis, Co. Clare. John and Rian are from CCÉ, Baile Núis, Co. Cork.

642.02 Celebrating their wonderful victory as All-Ireland Champions for 2022, Taobh na Mara Céilí Band from Waterford with a great selection of Polkas, joined by the energetic Ballyduff Set-Dancers. Don’t miss the enthusiastic Audience’s ‘super performance’ at the end of the dancing ! Recorded in Lawlors Hotel in Dungarvan on 10th Sept. 2022. Many thanks to the Band members and to the Hotel staff for all their help with the Recording.

642.03 “Morrisson’s Reel” played by Ben and Ella Connolly from London in 15-18 Duets at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar. They are members of CCÉ, North London, London and Southern, UK.

642.04 St. Roch’s Céilí Band from CCÉ, Irish Minstrels, Scotland, UK, play 2 Jigs - “The Boys of the Town” and “The Haunted House” (V. Broderick) in the Senior Céilí Bands Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. Band Members are Fiddles - Louise Hunter, Caroline Kay, Siobhán McArdle and Sarah Donaldson; Flutes - Patricia McArdle and Joe Armstrong; Button Accordion - Paddy Callaghan; Piano Accordion - Siobhán Downes; Piano - Kevin Murphy; Drums - Róisín Anne Hughes.

642.05 Taking 1st place in Senior Trios at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022, Aoibhin and Lucia Morgan and Oisin Bradley play the Barndance - ”Patrick Doherty’s”. They are from CCÉ, Rinn Mhic Ghiolla Rua, Co. Down.

642.06 Taking 2nd place in senior Trios at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022, Conchobhor Mac Donnacha, Rian Ó Sioradáin and Sinéad Nic Eoin, play a Jig - “Katie’s Fancy”. They are members of CCÉ, Paddy Killoran, Sligo.

642.07 Two Fiddle players at the Comhaltas TTCT Seminar in November 2022, Caoimhe Kilkenny (Mayo) and Madelyn Morrell (USA) play Reels - “Love at the Endings” (Ed; Reavy) and “The Banshee”. The Seminar, with attendees from Ireland and Overseas, was held in Culturlann na hÉireann in Dublin.

642.08 “John Naughton’s Reel” played in Senior Trios Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 by Siomha, Naoise and Art Ó Mearáin from CCÉ, Niall Ó Cathasaigh, Ballincollig, Co. Cork.

642.09 In the Senior Céilí Bands Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022, Pipers Cross Céilí Band from Mayo play a Hornpipe - “Charlie Mulvihill’s”. They are members of CCÉ, Cr. an Choisdellibhe/Róisín Bn. Uí Cheallaigh in Mayo. Band members are Fiddles - Eoghan Hughes, Caoimhe Kilkenny and Kate Henneghan; Flutes - Cian Kilkenny and Michael Lavelle; Accordion - Davóg Frayne; Concertina - Edel Walshe; Banjo - Stephen McDonnell; Piano - Eoin Walshe; Drums - Cian McNamara.

642.10 All-Ireland U-15 Slow Airs Champion 2022 on Flute, Lisa Golden plays the Air - “Slievenamon” at the Paddy Killoran Commemorative Concert in Ballymote, Co. Sligo on 17th September 2022.

642.11 All the way from Madrid, Spain, Irene Vioque Gonzalez with a lovely rendition of “The Oak Tree” Reel (T. Peoples) in 15-18 Fiddle Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar.

642.12 Taking 3rd place in 15-18 Flute Competotion at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022, Megan Teague from CCÉ, Dromore, Co. Tyrone, plays “Belharbour Reel”, sometimes called “Sailor’s Return” or “Paddy Reynold’s Reel”.

642.13 5 Flute players and a Whistle player attending the Comhaltas TTCT Seminar in November 2022, play a selection of Reels - “The Green Mountain” and “John Dwyer’s”. The Musicians are L/R Fiona McDonald (Laois), Lorna McGuinness (Sligo), Mary Murray (Galway), Tom Gavin (Sligo), Shauna Cullen (Sligo) and Harumi Takizawa (Japan). The week-long Seminar was held in Comhaltas Headquarters in Culturlann na hÉireann, Monkstown in Dublin.

642.14 The full Selection played by Lios Árd Grúpa Ceoil from CCÉ, Lackagh, Galway, in the Senior Grúpaí Ceoil Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar.

642.15 At a Session at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar, the Reynolds family - John, Margie and John Paul (guitar), from Pearl River, New York, with a selection of Reels - “Devanney’s Goat” and “The Bag of Spuds”.
