653.01 Laoise Kennedy plays her 2022 All-Ireland Winning Newly Composed Reel “The Blossom Tree” at a Session in The Half-Door Bar/Resturant, Nenagh, on 21st April 2023, with Guitar accompaniment by Jack McGrath. Laoise, a member of Ormond Comhaltas in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, is also the current All-Ireland 12-15 Fiddle Champion. Jack, a member of Ballycommon CCÉ, is current All-Ireland Miscellaneous Instrument Champion 12-15. Look at the impact of the performance on the Audience at the end !! The Half-Door hosts a very popular Session every Friday night.

653.02 In the Senior Duets Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022, Meadh and Naoise Ní Dhubhlaoich play a Hornpipe - “The Barrow Banks”. They are members of CCÉ, Craobh Chuilinn, Co. Offaly.

653.03 Taking 3rd place in the Full Set Mixed Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar, Cr. an Choisdellibhe/Róisín Bn. Uí Cheallaigh, CCÉ, Mayo, with their First Dance. The Dancers are - Aoibhín Doherty, Caitlin Henry, Conor Fox, Jake Glavey, Kevin Henry, Laura Flanagan, Peter Fox and Saoirse Eduaye.

653.04 Aoife and Una McGlinchey play a Paul Meehan Composition - the Reel “The Nun’s Walk” - in Senior Duets Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar. They are from CCÉ, Fintona, Co. Tyrone.

653.05 From New Jersey, US, Brendan and Eamon Wick play a Hornpipe - “The Flight of the Bumblebee” - in 15-18 Duets Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. They are members of CCÉ, Rafferty-Madden in New Jersey.

653.06 A selection of Jigs - “Gerry’s Beaver Hat’, “The Mist in the Meadow” and “Bill Collins’ Jig” - from the huge gathering of musicians and friends who turned up to celebrate Peg Ryan’s 100th Birthday in Hayes’ Bar/Resturant in Cappamore, Co. Limerick, on 14th April 2023. Peig’s contribution to the Traditional Culture of East Limerick has been remarkable throughout her long and musical life.

653.07 St. Roch’s Céilí Band from CCÉ, Irish Minstrels, Scotland, UK, play a Highlands - “Con Cassidy’s/Jimmy Lyons” - in the Senior Céilí Bands Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar. Band Members are Fiddles - Louise Hunter, Caroline Kay, Siobhán McArdle and Sarah Donaldson; Flutes - Patricia McArdle and Joe Armstrong; Button Accordion - Paddy Callaghan; Piano Accordion - Siobhán Downes; Piano - Kevin Murphy; Drums - Róisín Anne Hughes.

653.08 In the Senior Duets Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022, Ava and Aaron Glancy, CCÉ, Paddy Killoran, Sligo, play a Reel - “Graf Spee”.

653.09 The full selection played by CCÉ, Tuaisceart Loch Gorman, Wexford, in the Senior Grúpaí Ceoil Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

653.10 Aodh Mac Murchaidh and Jude Ó Cuaig in 15-18 Duets Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar, play a Jig - “The New House” (P O’ Brien). They are from CCÉ, Ring of Gullion, Co. Armagh.

653.11 The Jig “Out in the Cold” played in the 15-18 Fiddle Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar, by Kira Doppel from CCÉ, Irish Traditions of Atlanta, Georgia, US.

653.12 Three Reels - “The White Fairy”, “The Galway Rambler” and “The Mill House” - played at a Session in The Half-Door Bar/Resturant in Nenagh in April 2023, by Caithlin McGrath (flute), Cathal Slattery (accordion), Laoise Kennedy (fiddle) and Jack McGrath (guitar). Laoise and Jack are current All-Ireland Champions. All four are members of Ballycommon and Ormond CCÉ branches in the Nenagh area in Co. Tipperary.

653.13 The Hornpipe “Across the Fence” (Brendan McGlinchey) played in the Senior Duets Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 by Manus and Molly McFadden, CCÉ, North London, London & Southern, UK.

653.15 Taking 3rd place in the Senior Trios Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022, Ellen, Maeve and David Scott play a Scottische - “Charlie Lennon’s Scottische”. They are members of CCÉ, Camross, Co. Laois.

653.15 The Pearl River Céilí Band from New York, play a selection of Reels commencing with “The Chorus Reel” in the 15-18 Céilí Bands Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.
