This week we present music from the Scoil Éigse Tutors of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2006. Scoil Éigse is a week-long residential summer school featuring some of the best teachers in Irish traditional music, and attended by hundreds of students from around the world.

Now a selection of jigs, “The Scotsman Over the Border” and “The Tenpenny Bit”, which is this week’s Tutorial, played by Fintar McGreevy (on flute) from Co. Roscommon, Fiona Doherty (on fiddle) from Co. Sligo and Fiona Lavin (on fiddle) from Co. Mayo. Fintar and both Fionas were tutors at Scoil Éigse 2006.
