The late Florina Doyle from Castlebar, Co. Mayo, one of Joe Burke’s many pupils, played this selection of reels on the 14th of August, 2004. The tunes are “Last Night’s Fun” and “The Traveler”. Sadly, after a short illness, Florina subsequently passed away while still only in her teenage years.

This recording was made at Joe’s School of Traditional Music, Loughrea on the 27th of February, 2003.

Emma was one of the many music and dance tutors at the Comhaltas Annual Convention of North America, held for the first time in San Antonio from the 24th to the 27th of March 2011.
