Two former All-Ireland U-12 Fiddle Champions from Nenagh Ormond CCÉ, Mairéad O’ Brien (2018) and Laoise Kennedy (2019) play Reels - “Dowd’s favourite” and “Laurel’s”. Their Tutor is well-known local Fiddle player Liz Gaughan Quinn who, with her husband Brendan and colleagues, does so much to promote the music in the area. Incidentally, Laoise won the “Up and coming Fiddler of London “ competition 2022.
