639.01 Taking 1st place in 15-18 Fiddle Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar, Maebh McGlinchey, CCÉ, Fintona, Co. Tyrone, plays a Reel - “Miss Lawries”.

639.02 Twelve Flute players with a wonderful expression of real Sligo-style music with 3 Reels - “The Sailor on the Rock”, “Trip to Birmingham” (J. McDermott) and “The Mountain Road”. Recorded at a great Concert and Session by Paddy Killoran CCÉ, in Ballymote, Sligo on 17th Sept. 2022. The Flute players are - Back Row L/R Charles Dwyer, Cian Kearins, Michael Hurley, Adrian Frain, John Dwyer and Fr James McDonagh. Front L/R Lorraine Sweeney, Lisa Golden, Patricia Collis, James Carty, Conor McDonagh and Aoife Fadian. Fionnuala Kearins is on Keyboard. The excellent Bean a’ Tí for the Concert was Bríd Nic Reamacháin.

639.03 Two members of the 2022 All-Ireland Senior Céilí Band Champions Taobh na Mara from CCÉ, Cr. na gComarach, Waterford, Conor Arkins (Clare) and Rebecca Saich (Cork) play 2 Jigs - “The Sunny Hills of Beara” (F. O’ Dwyer) and “The Clare Shout” (B. Gardiner). Recorded in Lawlors Hotel, Dungarvan on 10th Sept. 2022.

639.04 Taking 1st place in 15-18 Duets Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar, John Munday and Rian McCarthy play a Reel “The Caher Rua”. They are from CCÉ, Baile Núis, Co. Cork.

639.05 In 15-18 Fiddle Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar, Neil Kennedy with a lovely rendition of one of my favourite Reels - “Laura’s Reel” composed by Philip Duffy. Neil is from CCÉ, Chloich Ceannfhaola, Donegal.

639.06 Taking 1st place in Senior Grúpaí Ceoil Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar, the full selection played by Tigh na Coille, CCÉ, Cr. na Coradh, Co. Clare.

639.07 The Reel “The Broken Pledge” played by Aodh Mac Murchaidh and Jude Ó Cuaig in 15-18 Duets Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar. They are from CCÉ, Ring of Gullion, Armagh.

639.08 At a great Concert/Session in Lawlors Hotel, Dungarvan on 10th Sept. 2022, All-Ireland Senior Céilí Band Champions 2022, Taobh na Mara, Waterford, celebrate their well-deserved success. Here they play a selection of Reels joined by Sean-nós Dancer Shane Creed from Cork. Don’t miss the lovely steps by some of the Band members ! The Reels are “Molly Bawn”, “The Sailor’s Bonnet” and “The Woman of the House” and the Band are from Craobh na gComorach, Waterford. Band Members were Fiddles - Séamus and Sarah O’ Gorman and Conor Arkins; Flutes - Claire Fennell and Liam Walsh; Accordion - Joseph Mannion; Concertina - Rebecca Saich; Banjo - Seán Kelliher; Piano - Hannah Collins; Drums- Danny Collins.
