From the Aos Óg Concert at Fleadh Nua 2008 in Ennis, Co. Clare, a set of jigs by fiddle player Bronwyn de Paor from Ennis. She plays: “Don’t Touch that Green Linnet” and “Dooish”, both composed by Tommy Peoples.
Bronwyn was runner-up in the U-18 fiddle at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2007 in Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

A group of fiddles: 5 in line with two reels: “The Bird in the Bush” and “The Skylark”. The musicians are Bernadette and Antón Mac Gabhann, Emma Woods, Garry Lynch and Anne Marie Mc Gowan who presented many of the early editions of ComhaltasLive.
This music was recorded at one of the many open-air sessions of Fleadh Nua 2004 in Ennis. Co. Clare. Fleadh Nua 2008 commences this weekend in Ennis, Co. Clare from May 18 - 26.

Piano accompaniament is by Deirdre McSherry from Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.

From Ballynacally in West Clare, fiddle player Carmel O’Dea has the dinstinction of having played with three of Clare’s great Céilí Bands - Ennis Céilí Band, the Kilfenora and the Turloughmore. Carmel performed at the Fleadh Nua in Ennis in 2004 and recorded these two reels for ComhaltasLive.
