The tunes are the “Christmas Eve” reel followed by “Willie Coleman’s Jig”. Listening attentively is flute maker and player Eamonn Cotter who made the flute which Matt is playing.

Derry flute player Siobhán Molloy plays two reels: “Josie McDermott’s” and “The Baltimore Sallute” (composed by Josie McDermott). Recorded at the Munster Fleadh Cheoil 2013 at University of Limerick. Siobhán was one of a team of ambassadors from Derry, which will host Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann from 11th to 18th of August 2013.

Music is by Cóilín’s father Niall on concert flute and Majella Bartley on fiddle – they play “The Fairy Queen Hornpipe”.

Niall Keegan on concert flute and Majella Bartley on fiddle play a selection of three polkas which were recorded about eight years ago by Sligo flute player John McKenna. Niall and Majella were recorded on the 12th of June 2013 in Plassey House at University of Limerick for the launch of the Munster Fleadh Cheoil, which will be held at the magnificent UL campus from 14th to 21st July 2013. The Fleadh was launched by President Don Barry, UL and Senator Labhrás Ó Murchú, Árdstiurthóir, CCÉ.
