Athnuachan, meaning Renewal, will be the theme of Comhaltas for 2002 and beyond, thus building on the success of 50 Bliain Ag Fásin 2001. On page 4 of this issue of Treoir are listed some of the aspirations which will motivate the worldwide traditional movement over the coming years.
From Listowel (Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann) to St Louis (North American Convention); from Ennis (Fleadh Nua) to Manchester (Comhdháil na Breataine); from Dublin (Tionól Leo Rowsome) to 400 Comhaltas branches on four Continents performance initiative, innovation and service will be celebrated.
