NASC at Dún Uladh 9th Feb

Nasc, meaning “link” in Irish, is a new cross-cultural collaboration based on the emergence of the Urban Gael in Scotland and Ireland. Featuring two of Scotland and Ireland’s finest young Gaelic singers, Maeve Mackinnon and Gráinne Holland, the project also features three phenomenal instrumentalists; Donal O’Connor (At First Light), Ross Martin (Dàimh) and celebrated cellist Neil Martin. The seeds of this collaboration first formed at festivals in Scotland and Ireland, and have since blossomed into a project in its own right with exciting potential!
