Our second ever Patrick Byrne traditional music weekend was a great success. In all we had 73 enrolled for workshops in Scoil Rois taking lessons in fiddle, accordion, whistle & flute, banjo, harp, pipes, singing and dancing. Thanks to everyone who helped out with putting up signs, getting rooms ready, serving food and clearing up afterwards. The branch would also like to thank both Comhaltas HQ and Carrickmacross Town Council for their continued financial support. Without this sponsorship we simply could not put on the music weekend.
