We regret to announce the death of Pat Sweeney, Manchester, former President of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann. Pat gave a lifetime of service to the promotion of Irish culture and to Ireland. He played a prominent role in his community in Manchester and was held in high esteem by all who knew him. His service to Comhaltas as President and in other capacities is widely acknowledged and appreciated.
