The competition starts broadcasting this Friday. (7:00 – RnaG) and is still open for another two weeks and open to any one from anywhere in the world. No entry fee! The prize is the Seán Ó Riada Gold Medal and €5000. The final is on the 7th of January in Cork but the last 15 chosen for the final will be given transport and accommodation free from where ever they are in the world. So far we have competitors from Ireland, France, Russia, Canada, USA and England. Now is the last chance for the next 4 years to have a crack at this prize.
