Community radio station NEAR 90FM presents _The Comhaltas Sessions_, a three part music documentary series which takes a closer look at Beaumont, Kinsealy and Sean Treacy Branches of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann. We hear from the volunteers, parents and musicians who dedicate so much of their free time to keep Comhaltas at the forefront of Irish Traditional music and see the great community spirit involved in running a Comhaltas Branch. You will hear plenty of traditional jigs, reels and airs recorded in the various branches and in NEAR 90FM studios. All music is played magnificently by the young musicians from the branches.
