The 10th Gerry Whelan Memorial weekend will be taking place in Cootehill, Co. Cavan from the 12th - 14th September.
It is a weekend of music, singing and dancing with:
Memorial concert including Guest Artists:
MacDara Ó Raghallaigh, Dave Sheridan and Padraig McGovern, Claire and Ursula Byrne, Lorna McColm & David Hunter, Finbar Magee and Breige Quinn , Ray and Fionnuala Lawlor with Mickey McDonnell and Friends, Seamus Fay, Cootehill CCE .Workshops on: Fiddle, Button Accordion, Banjo, Flute, Tin Whistle and Bodhran.
Other Events Include: Singing & Storytelling, Caint agus Comhrá, Gig Rig, Oiche Cois Tine, Folk Club and Pub Sessions
