Echoes of Erin / Macalla na hÉireann, the 2012 Comhaltas Concert Tour of Ireland will cover 14 venues from the 14th to the 28th of October. The annual Tour features the best of traditional talent drawn from all four Provinces of Ireland. The Tour will arrive in Dún Uladh, Omagh, County Tyrone on Wednesday the 17th of Oct at 8.30pm in the Comhaltas Regional Resource Centre at Dún Uladh.
Tickets for the tour are once again generously sponsored by Bus Éireann and Foras na Gaeilge and cost £10, available from www.dunuladh.ie of by contacting the office 0044 (0)28 8224 2777. Each year the tour assembles a fine mix of established artistes together with up-and-coming young stars. These are blended together into a fast-moving and colourful show that appeals to both the connoisseurs and peripheral fans of Irish traditional entertainment.
The annual tour features the best of traditional talent drawn from all four Provinces of Ireland and this group of musicians and dancers will act as great cultural ambassadors for Irish Traditional Culture and for Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.
