‘The Kennedy Lineage’, a group of 5 fiddle players with the fiddles tuned AEAE instead of the usual GDAE, play very old settings of two reels “Greg’s Pipes” and “London Lassies”, at a special Jubilee Concert in Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim on Sunday 17th July 2016. The players are L/R Marie Reilly (who travelled from USA for the concert), Marion Mulligan, Conor Ward, Claire Bohan and Fiachra Henry. Patrick Hamell provided a “very light touch’ on drums. The concert was organised by Fr John Quinn who has done extraordinary work researching the music of the region as well as teaching many young musicians and organising bands in many areas over the years. The concert was presented by Martin Donohoe.
