Musicians include Deirdre Scanlon (fid), Aoife Naughton (flute), Eddie Whelan (guitar), Michael Searson (accordion - incidentally, Michael plays the popular “Cáirdín’ brand accordion which he manufactures), Michael Harty (flute), Seán Bashford (bouzouki), Eimear Watson (fid), Donal Watson (fid), Siobhán Kelly (flute) and Michael Hackett (bodhrán). Deirdre Scanlon and some of her colleagues play a Session in the pub - The Washerwoman’s Pub - every Sunday evening from 7 to 9 pm. I would like to express a sincere “thank You” to the Fleadh organisers for arranging a special tribute/acknowledgement to the Comhaltas Live Programme at the official opening of the Fleadh.
