Fantastic. As good as the old Noel Hill and Tony MacMahon duets. The last one is The Longford Tinker.

See “www.thesession.org/tunes/display/7862” for discussion of 2nd tune.

The tunes are:

For the Sake of Old Decency (in D)
Brendan McMahon’s
Martin Wynne’s No.2
The Longford Tinker

It seems the combination of the first two reels comes from the playing of the Tulla Ceili Band. A bit of research shows the second one is a version of the Steampacket and sometimes called the Mountain Lark.

Can anyone please advise where I might be able to get hold of sheet music for ‘For the Sake of Auld Decency’ in the key of D (as opposed to G)?

Many thanks
