463.01 All-Ireland Button Accordion champion 2014, Michael Curran from CCE, Clogher Valley, Co. Tyrone, plays two reels composed by Martin Mulhaire - “Mulhaire’s No. 9” and “Carmel Mulhaire’s” - at the NYAH festival concert in Cavan on 13th March 2015. Piano accompaniment is by Mark McCrystal, also from CCE, Clogher Valley, Co. Tyrone who also won the All-Ireland title (for Accompaniment) in 2014. 463.02 Sligo button accordion player Daithí Gormley plays three reels - “Red Tom of the hills” (Ed. Reavy), “Carraigín Rua” (B.Tonra) and “The Donegal Traveller” (F.O’Dwyer) at the annual NYAH Festival concert in Cavan on 13th March 2015. Piano accompaniment is by Philip Clarke, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan. The Festival, now in its 6th year, is organised by Martin Donohue who also, as Fear a’ tí, added so much to the enjoyment of the concert. Neansaí Ní Choisdealbha on flute and Darren Breslin on accordion play a selection of jigs - “Currants for cakes and raisins for everything” (Ann Conroy Burke) and “The lark on the strand”, at the NYAH Festival concert in Cavan in March 2015. Neansaí is, of course, the very popular presenter on Radio na Gaeltachta and Darren from Lisnaskeagh, Co. Fermanagh, won the All-Ireland senior accordion title in 2008. 463.04 Flute player Neansaí Ní Choisdealbha of Radio na Gaeltachta fame plays three reels, with piano accompaniment by Philip Clarke from Cavan, at the annual NYAH Festival concert in Cavan in March 2015. The reels are “John Brennan’s”, “George White’s” and “The mountain road” and are featured on Neansaí’s CD - “Draíocht na Feadóige” released in 2014. 463.05 All-Ireland accordion champion 2008, Darren Breslin from Lisnaskeagh, Co. Fermanagh, plays a selection of jigs commencing with “The Stormy Night” (by Paddy O’ Brien) at the annual NYAH Festival, Cavan, March 2015. Piano accompaniment is by current All-Ireland Champion Mark McCrystal, CCÉ, Clogher Valley, Co. Tyrone. 463.06 Legendry lilter Seamus Fay from Kilnaleck, performs a jig at the NYAH Festival 2015 in his native Co. Cavan. 463.07 Button accordion player Daithí Gormley from Sligo with Philip Clarke from Cavan on piano, plays a selection of jigs - “Both meat and Drink” (Ed. Reavy), “Seán McGlynn’s” and an old setting of “the Frost is all over”. Recorded on 13th March 2015 at the annual NYAH Festival in Cavan. Daithí is one of the new Tutors with TRAD TIME, the national Scheme for teaching music in primary schools around the country. 463.08 Dancers from Droim ar Snámh CCÉ, Co. Leitrim, taking 3rd place at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2014 in Sligo, in the Ladies U-18 full set with The Boyne Set, Fig 2.
