I have been watching out for albums featuring Brid Harper since 1983, when I attended the same Scoil Éigse taught by Kathleen Nesbitt. I still remember the way she played the Oak Tree at that time. Then she appeared on the 2nd Jimmy McHugh memorial concert. I hope that, starting with this video, we’ll be able to hear more and more of Brid’s music. Why would she not open a MySpace Music page and post a few audio tracks there ?

I would like to second Yves-Antoine’s sentiment.  I have only been able to hear Brid via a copy of a radio program and a “bootleg” concert, as well as the Jimmy McHugh stuff (which was amazing).  Even having heard only this small amount, I am a huge fan, and have also been waiting for more.  Come on, Brid, your fans are waiting!  Let’s have an album already, and don’t forget to put some Donegal stuff on it!
