Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2009 will take place between Sunday, 16th August and 23rd August 2009 and we are offering you the chance to become a Fleadh Patron.
This year’s organising committee has put together a new and exciting Patron Package which offers you the opportunity to become part of one of the most exciting cultural and musical events of the year in a very special way.
A Fleadh Patron will be given an invite to the official opening of the Fleadh on 17th August 2009 at 8pm in the Tullamore Court Hotel. You will be presented with an entrance badge, which will allow you to go to all the exciting Fleadh competitions over the weekend.
Seachtain na hÉigse has becoming an exciting week of events, which precedes the competition weekend. As part of the week, we have a wide variety of events, including the much anticipated Ard Ollamh Ball. As part of the patron package, you will be given tickets to attend this prestigious event.
The Ceannródaithe concert is another exciting event of this week and as Patrons of the Fleadh, you will be attend this excellent showcase of talent and see many of the much loved musicians, who have been working diligently over the past number of years to promote Irish music and culture.
As many of you are aware, the All Ireland Ceili Band Competition is the most attended event of the Fleadh competition weekend. This competition takes place in the beautiful Church of the Assumption, Tullamore and this has proven to be a fantastic venue for this competition.
And, you can be of part of what promises to be one of the most exciting climatic conclusions to Fleadh Cheoil.
Being a Fleadh Patron, you will be given a wide variety of tickets to attend many of the fantastic events and there are some brilliant additions as part of the Patron Package.
The total cost of this wonderful package is €200. We hope that you will take this opportunity to consider becoming a patron of the Fleadh and being part of one of the largest cultural events in Europe.
